Pisces

Pisces is a mutable, yin water sign. Its traditional ruler is Jupiter and its modern ruler is Neptune. Pisces is the final sign of the Zodiac, so there’s a feeling that we’ve experienced all there is, and yet ready to dive back into the new (aka Aries, thus starting the cycle again). We leave the work and building aspects and let go. Pisceans are known for their compassionate, intuitive, and artistic nature. They are often dreamy, sensitive individuals who can be deeply emotional and imaginative. Pisceans are typically adaptable and flexible, but they can also be indecisive and prone to escapism. They tend to be empathetic and artistic individuals who are inclined towards spiritual pursuits. The image we see for Pisces is two fish swimming in opposite directions which gives us a clue about Pisces. Are we going with the flow or swimming against the tide? We might wonder where the fish begins and the water ends. And vice versa. So, boundaries may be an issue. Neptune and Jupiter both speak to a sense of expansion and unboundedness. Imagine being dropped into the middle of the ocean–the vastness takes your breath away. Which way to dry land? It could be slightly disorienting wondering which way to go. How do we connect with all that is and not lose direction? How do we feel, intuit, or navigate our way through life? This may be an area of life that is hard to articulate or find the language to describe the depth of emotion and feeling.
