Planetary movements and lunations for June:
June 3: Mercury moves into Gemini
June 6: New Moon in Gemini at 16 degrees
June 9: Mars moves into Taurus
June 17: Mercury moves into Cancer/ Venus moves into Cancer
June 20: Sun moves into Cancer
June 21: Full Moon in Capricorn at 1 degree
June 28: Saturn stations to go retrograde at 19 degrees of Pisces
It’s a pretty Mercurial week ahead and it makes me think of Bonnie Raitt’s song, “Something to Talk About.” Thoughts, ideas, and perceptions are swirling, maybe even some gossip. Mercury moves into a sign it rules and it's blowing through the sign of Gemini in two weeks. Gemini is the sign where the planets will start to bunch up, so expect your Gemini house to feel like it's been caught up in a whirlwind.

Mercury in Taurus sextiles Saturn in Pisces at 18 degrees
There is support here to get focused and get some work done. Communications have slowed down, and this would be a really good time to lean into that Jupiter in Gemini transit and plan ahead. Prioritize your time and energy. Saturn constricts, so harness that energy as invitations start pouring in. Consider asking people when they need a “final” answer so you can organize, look ahead, and also as a way out if needed. There is likely to be FOMO happening at one point, so accept that if you can, and pick the requests that make the most sense for you.
May 29
Mars conjuncts Chiron in Aries at 22 degrees- There is an activation for catharsis available. We may act from a place of wounding or want to wound others if feeling like we’ve been attacked. Be careful driving around this time. Aries is impulsive and Mars rules accidents. We may become aware of how we feel in our “meat suits”. Maybe old injuries flare around this time or we become a little more aware of how we are aging.
May 31
Mercury conjuncts Uranus in Taurus at 24 degrees- It’s like Mercury has been given a megaphone and broadcasting things in HD. Our brain could feel like we went from dial-up to high-speed internet. Synapses in the brain are firing and lots of information can be downloaded.
Are you open to new insight? Perhaps you become aware that your thinking has stagnated and needs some upgrading. We may notice, in the collective, a craving or desire for the freedom of speech or how we value it. Your brain could feel wired and hard to contain. Ground the energy by walking in nature, cooking a meal, gardening, or doing some yoga.
June 2
Jupiter in Gemini trines Pluto RX in Aquarius at 1-2 degrees- Jupiter is about meaning-making, so we need to open up some areas and give them space and room to breathe. Consider this transit like a room being aired out. With Jupiter being a sky god and Pluto being the lord of the Underworld, think of that room getting a sunroof and digging a basement for this room. Pluto is digging for gold by way of rooting out whatever has been slowly rotting or becoming toxic. It’s not an easy journey when discussing Pluto, change isn’t easy, but read The Guest House by Rumi for inspiration. Welcome it all in.
Mercury in Taurus sextiles Neptune in Pisces at 29 degrees- Take a break to daydream, to get lost in your thoughts, to create some new ideas and perceptions. Let your intuition guide you.
June 3
Mercury moves into Gemini- This is a homecoming for Mercury as one of the signs it rules is Gemini. So there is a dignity and strength for Mercury from now until June 17th when Mercury moves into Cancer. Mercury is moving fast, so expect our communications to take off. Let your curiosity guide you as you gather data and intel. Share the information you’ve gleaned. There’s a child-like quality to Mercury in Gemini. Remember preschool when you flitted from one activity to the next? The Sun, Venus, and Jupiter are also in Gemini, so be on the lookout for sensory overload and maybe in FOMO. There’s a sense of too much, so schedule breaks when possible. Meditate when you are in monkey mind.
Sun in Gemini trine North Node in Aries at 14 degrees- A spotlight is turned on a hunger for independence and trying new things. It may feel impulsive or irrational, but also intriguing and interesting. This energy is supportive, so if you’ve been thinking about trying that new karate class or ditching your Duolingo app to take that French class, go for it.
**My intention with these weekly astrology reports is something like looking at a weather app. If you know it will rain, you’ll bring an umbrella. Awareness can help us navigate the Astro “weather” too. I hope to share this information in an easily digestible way (not too much jargon). Please read this information knowing that these energies can appear in higher or lower forms.
