Let me introduce myself...

Let me introduce myself. I’m Amy O’Donnell and I’m an astrologer. I have loved astrology for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, every morning, I'd come down to have breakfast, and my dad would give me the newspaper section with the horoscope in it. I'd set off for my day, wondering if what Sydney Omarr (an astrologer who wrote the columns) had predicted would come true. I would save my money for monthly horoscope reports that Jeanne Dixon would write. I remember walking down to the local pharmacy to get the monthly publications.

I was always curious about astrology, but I didn’t really start learning more until 2003. Since then I’ve taken classes, read books, and had hundreds of personal readings with several different astrologers but mostly with a few mentors who have helped me dive into my chart. I'm so grateful for Anne Ortelee, Jessica Murray, Safron Rossi, Darby Costello, Jason Holley, Kelly Surtees, and various other astrologers I've met and worked with along the way. I graduated from a four year certification program in 2023 from Astrology University. And, a special shout out to Tony Howard who launched the four-year certification program and who is an outstanding astrologer in his own right. Now I’ve been giving readings for almost 5 years and have recently started teaching classes at a local place here where I live in Baltimore, MD. But, I'm mostly interested in consulting with individuals as they explore their natal charts. It feels like such an honor to provide some insight and help my clients interpret the deeper meanings they learn about themselves.

Like the bridge I’m sitting next to in the accompanying photo, I see astrology as a bridge. So many of my clients come to see me to ask about life purpose, relationships, work, children among other topics. They notice that they need some advice to get from where they are to where they want to be. They’re all trying to understand themselves and astrology is an amazing tool to bring some clarity and validation to their lives.
