This week we have Venus meeting with Neptune before moving into Leo and opposing Pluto in Aquarius and then Mars and Uranus meeting up in Taurus. What does all that mean? If Venus has been wearing any rose-colored glasses, they could be ripped off this week. Impulsive, explosive, and passionate energy abounds by the end of the week. Mars and Uranus also have an explosive quality. Uranus has been jackhammering it's way through Taurus, breaking up all the ruts in our lives. With Mars joining Uranus, we may feel like TNT has been added to the mix. Where can we grow outside of the rigid ruts we have found ourselves in?

Venus in Cancer sextiles Uranus in Taurus at 26 degrees- After the transit with Chiron the other day, this energy may help you reach an “aha” moment. 

Mercury in Leo sextiles Jupiter in Gemini at 9 degrees- Things are looking more positive or optimistic. Your perspective gets a helping hand and you can see the bigger picture. 

Mercury in Leo trine North node in Aries at 9 degrees- The boost from Jupiter could give you the oomph you need to take a risk. 

July 9

Jupiter in Gemini sextile the North Node in Aries at 10 degrees- We can always use a higher perspective or an expansive point of view. The North Node has been in Aries for about a year now. How have you been experiencing it? What house has it been transiting? Have you felt this need to do things more independently, even though it’s uncomfortable? This area of life could use a little Jupiterean insight. Being curious could help too. 

July 10

Sun in Cancer trine Saturn RX Pisces at 19 degrees- This transit could help us set some boundaries or retreating to the privacy of our home.  We could all use a little nurturing or nourishment during this time. How could some discipline help us with our work and responsibilities? Perhaps you’re about to go on vacation and banging out some work related projects before you go could really set you up for a soft landing upon your return. Focus on what’s necessary. Notice what you may have been avoiding and set a timeline to get the work done in incremental steps if need be. 

July 11

Venus in Cancer trine Neptune RX in Pisces at 29 degrees- This is a supportive transit when it comes to beauty, love, and partnerships. Maybe you take a long weekend away with loved ones. How does this soothe and provide a sense of comfort or much needed down time? Daydream, sit by some water, drink lots of water, draw, sing, dance, play, build sandcastles, get lost and enjoy the ride. 

Venus moves into Leo- There could be a little more drama or flair in our relationships. Take a look at what you value in a relationship. Is it loyalty? Generosity? Some recognition for what you bring to the table? This transit helps us take up space in a partnership. You may find you need to remind a teammate of how much work you’ve been doing. Be proud of your achievements. Be a big-hearted leader. Inspire others by showing your heart-centered strength. Don’t be afraid to take center stage. Take pride in yourself and offer words of encouragement as well. Charisma and daring are being called on. If you’re not feeling that energy, what mantra would help? Is there someone on your team that could offer a boost with their support or encouragement?

July 12

Venus in Leo opposite Pluto RX in Aquarius at 1 degree- How do you relate to your power? What do you find valuable in relationships? What do you find invaluable in relationships? Are you noticing a theme in certain relationships? Paying attention to certain dynamics with a certain bit of detachment could be very beneficial. It could bring some key insights. Focus on places that may need some change or a shifting in the balance of power. Look at the Leo and Aquarius houses in your chart for where you may notice these energies playing out. Are you centrally located in important relationships or feeling a little excluded? Are we able to share our unique expression in our partnerships? Things may get a little extra passionate, but be sure to speak from your heart.  

July 15

Sun in Cancer square Chiron in Aries at 23 degrees- Your ego may take a hit during this time. Some info may come to light that leaves a bit of an ouch. Have you been a little impulsive of late? Do you need to come at something directly, but skirting the issue? Consider how you can change the energy by tuning into your intuition. Focus on what makes you feel safe and secure. 

Mars in Taurus conjunct Uranus in Taurus at 26 degrees- Mars in Taurus may have taken a certain edge off the Mars activating energy, but everyone has a boiling point, and you may find yourself reaching it around this day. There’s an irritating quality to this transit. Mars is like the bull in the field chewing its cud, but when it meets the Uranian energy, it could be like a wasp sting, and the bull has taken off–no fence will hold him. The proverbial bull in the china shop metaphor. Flashes of anger, clashes of will, a need for independence and freedom. Some action could bring an “aha” moment. Passions can erupt. If you fight with a loved one, the make-up sex could be fire. The fixed Star Algol is also at this degree, so we could feel like we are losing our minds or see others blow their tops. Notice where you are in your head too much. Ground your energy by doing something that takes you into your body--do some yoga, acupuncture, massage, reiki, craniosacral, or go for a run or brisk walk. Eat healthy foods, garden, play with your dog, swim, cuddle with a loved one.

**My intention with these weekly astrology reports is something like looking at a weather app. If you know it will rain, you’ll bring an umbrella. Awareness can help us navigate the Astro “weather” too.
