Gemini: The Magician

The Magician card is connected to the archetype of Gemini. Gemini has the motto of “I think”, and when we look at the Magician, we see the infinity symbol over his head. The infinity symbol speaks to the magician’s ability to tap into his power-- the potential to create, manifest, as well as the understanding of how energy flows.

Our thinking function may or may not help us bring our ideas into fruition. We may need more intel. Do we know our why? Gemini is a mutable air sign and is often compared to a buzzing bee or a flitting butterfly making their way around a garden. They never land for long. Gemini is similar to a preschool experience. One moment we’re on the playground, the next playing with blocks, then story time, off to get a snack, play dress up, take a nap, and then we’re off to play with playdoh or cooking up something in the kitchen. The energy is bustling but fun. We’re not being tested on anything, more like we are testing out what we like and don’t like. 

The Magician reminds us that we are creative and resourceful. On the table in front of the Magician are all the suits: a pentacle, a wand, a cup, and a sword. What do you desire to bring to life? The wands represent fire and creativity. The cups show water which depicts emotions. The swords portrays air and the ability to articulate or communicate what you want to manifest. The pentacles represent earth and material matters. Everything is there for you, now what do you want to bring into form? Do you feel stuck? What is in your way? What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail? Has our mind been programmed or conditioned to think a certain way? Can we use our magic to dispel the negativity? It’s time to follow our curiosity. New adventures, new experiences await us.
