Blink! What changed in that instant? It could feel life-changing when we are dealing with an eclipse. We know that the Full Moon brings something into vivid color. In Pisces, it can be more nuanced or hard to put a finger on. It could seem like something moved into the foreground or conversely something that seemed center stage shifted to the background.
The eclipses are in the Pisces/Virgo axis, so often the polarities offer the medicine we need. If we've gone granular, how can we pull back and see something from a wider perspective? If something is overwhelming, what's one small step we can take towards managing some of that overload?
We may want to reflect back on the last eclipse in Pisces which was on September 17, 2024 at 25 degrees of Pisces. Even though this eclipse was partial it was also a Super Moon, which just means the Moon was as close to the Earth as it can get. What was amplified at that time? Are there any echoing stories from that time?
Channel your inner director and take a wide view of what's happening in your life. Where could you be wearing rose-colored glasses and not seeing some pertinent details? If the eclipse is happening in your 3rd house, what is getting lost in translation? Is there a sibling story? If it's happening in your 12th house, are you ignoring the signs that show a need for retreat? If it's happening in your 5th house, what hobbies or creative projects need re-imagining? Can your inner child help you connect to a sense of play or adventure?
One of the ruler's of this eclipse is Jupiter. Jupiter is in Cancer and will offer a trine to the Full Moon. A trine is an easy flowing energy. We can take this energy for granted, so if you have an opportunity to make some change, do it. Accept the support and help when offered. Jupiter has also just finished squaring Mars in Libra. A square represents tension and stress, and the energy here is motivating and can bring a sense of inspiration, enthusiasm, and assertiveness. Keep an eye on impulsiveness or making decisions without much thought or insight. But, sometimes we just need help jumping in and taking a risk and this could be the support you need to try.
The other ruler of this eclipse is Neptune who is retrograde in Aries and about to dip back into Pisces. What have you learned about any creative action you've wanted to take? If you ever want to "notice" Neptune, close your eyes. Then open them. Which world was "real"? Use the retrograde as an opportunity to review and reconsider what may need some re-working or "cleaning up" type of energy. What loose ends need to be tied up? Or conversely, how would it feel to untether or unfurl something that may have been cutting or constricting?
Eclipses are times of beginnings and endings. How can we embrace whatever comes our way during this time? Use the energy of mutability to adjust and change accordingly.
