We are going in deep for this Full Moon in Scorpio, but then Scorpio wouldn’t have it any other way. We know the Full Moon is when the luminaries are opposite each other. The Moon is at 22 degrees of Scorpio, a sign the Moon has some challenges in. Why? Because it's said to be exalted in Taurus--a place where the Moon can manifest and enjoy all the senses. So when the Moon is in the opposite sign, it suggests a need to undercover what may be causing some issues in our tactile world.
Scorpio is the fixed water sign ruled by Mars. We are in deep waters here. You may want to check in on how close you are holding your cards and detect what is underneath the surface of any emotions that are rearing their heads. I say this because the Sun in Taurus is right next to Uranus. A Full Moon is a time where something wants to be seen and in all it's glory. With Uranus next to the Sun, it's amplifying the Sun, like a kleig light. Uranus is offering a chance for freedom and some independence, but if that's your aim, your timeline may not be Uranus's timeline. Uranus is impatient, it wants change yesterday. Even though Uranus is a slow moving transpersonal planet, when you recieve it's energy, it's electric. It's got a job to do and probably not taking your deeply felt emotions into consideration. Do you like your bandaids ripped off quickly or slow? Uranus already ripped it off while asking the question.
Mars, the ruler of this lunation, has finally left the degrees of his recent six month retrograde in Cancer and Leo. Now he's travelling in the fire sign of Leo, asking you what do you want? What drives you? Motivates you? Mars makes an applying trine with Venus in Aries (another sign Mars rules) so there could be something here around your desire nature as well? What is worth the effort? Evaluate the energy needed to move forward in these new degrees Mars is travelling in.
We may feel raw and exposed, and the Scorpio archetype is happiest in the damp, dark spots, and often throws a stinger if you get too close. So, double down on self care. Use the support offered from Saturn in Pisces--call a friend, loved one, or mentor and ask them to help you out of the swamp. Remember, a Full Moon is a time of shedding, and it's usually easier if we participate.
