Full Moon at 13 degrees of Taurus

This Full Moon in Taurus may feel like a sigh of relief in some ways, as it doesn't have any hard aspects. (I concede there is a very wide square from Pluto, but read on to see how that may work out). It receives a trine from the North Node and a sextile from the South Node. This energy has the potential for ease, flow, and feeling like the support you need is there if you look for it.
Taurus is a Venus ruled sign. Venus is about love, beauty, relationships, and values. This could be a great time to take note of what surfaces around these themes. Are you in alignment with what and who you value? If not, what do you want to do about it? If nothing else, look at your bank statements and look at how you've been spending your money. Is there anything there that you'd like to change? Or want more of? Maybe it's time to rein in some costs. Take some time to create a budget or talk to a trusted advisor.
The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon is "On the beach, children play while shellfish grope at the edge of the water." This is from Lynda Hill's book The Sabian Oracle. A full Moon is when the Sun and Moon are opposite each other and I love how the Sabian symbol reflects the earthiness of Taurus with the imagery of the beach and the watery realms of Scorpio with the symbols of the shellfish by the water's edge.
I found the word grope interesting--it's a pretty "charged" word, but it means to reach, fumble, fondle, or fish for. It reminds me that there is medicine in the polarities of the signs. So, if in some way you are feeling dry and brittle (when there is too much earth) then water could actually help soothe and soften that energy. How can you surrender to the feelings that arise? Conversely, if you're feeling flooded or overwhelmed then what helps ground you?
Hill quoted Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in her interpretration of the Sabian symbol. "Sit in reverie and watch the changing color of the waves that break upon the idle seashore of the mind." What a beautiful way to consider how to work with this energy, if you do feel swept away at this Full Moon. Where did you go with the imagery?
You can trust yourself to be able to sit with any emotional tides that come your way during this time. Instead of fearing a tidal wave, give yourself permission to dive in to what comes up for you. Spend some time in nature, indulge in a delicious meal, rake up some leaves and jump in them like you did as a child (or whatever your favorite childhood activities may have been), garden, get your hands dirty somehow (paint, clay, etc), take a long drive in the country....trust your gut and do what feels good. Let the experience wash over you and as it recedes, like the tide, let it take away any detritus with it. The Full Moon exposes with its light and then asks you to shed what no longer serves. With the South Node offering a sextile and the wide square from Pluto, it may feel like whatever is washed away is exactly what was needed.
How can you observe and notice how to nourish/nurture (Moon) yourself at this time? How can you patiently (Taurus) and tenderly probe the soft, tender areas that need extra TLC? You may want to protect (Scorpio) yourself from anything intense and or painful (Scorpio), but how can you provide your own stable groundedness (Taurus)? If you have a trusted friend who can hold the space without bringing any guilt or shame, then reach out, but if not you could find that the Full Moon illuminates how capable you are to provide that for yourself.
