Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo at 12 degrees on March 3, 2026

Here we are at another eclipse in the Virgo/Pisces series that started back in September 2024. This could be a great time to look at your Virgo and Pisces houses to see what has shifted, changed, and maybe even felt forced to adapt by the instability around you. Let's appeal to Virgo's super power of discernment. Mercury rules Virgo, so take all the information that's been coming your way and analyze, assimilate, and organize it. What's helpful for you going forward? Sort the info into piles: use, slush, trash, or recycle.
Let's take a look at the chart (see below). The visual is pretty eye opening. This is a scenario where the "cheese" (aka the Moon) stands alone. It sits next to the South Node, which is often equated to a depletion or exhaustive quality. The Sun, in Pisces, stands opposite the Moon with a whole crew surrounding it. There is Mars, newly entering Pisces, the North Node, then the Sun, and on the other side, we have Mercury, which is retrograde, and then Venus. Hovering right near by is the recently departed (aka Saturn and Neptune in Aries). So what the hell does all that mean? The image I get is the wake left from a boat (Saturn and Neptune), and what has been churned up and left behind from their passing through. The first eclipse in this series was in Pisces back on September 17, 2024 so what has been unfurling in these areas of life since then? The Full Moon brings the klieg lights to these two houses in your chart. Remember that the polarities can offer the medicine when out of balance. So, if you've been in the micro world of Virgo, Pisces can offer the macro. If you've been lost in the details (Virgo), Pisces can offer the larger perspective.
The ruler of this lunation is Mercury, which is retrograde and what is considered in detriment and fall in Pisces. You may read this as a shit show, but to me, it really calls for a slowing down, what is calling your attention? Are you overhwhelmed? What details are you missing? Have you piled too much on your plate? Slowing down can make you aware that there are things that need to be broken down into smaller segments. Virgo and Pisces are Yin signs, so besides slowing down, you may need time to reflect, meditate, and/or study something at a deeper level. Yin is passive, not as in passive aggressive, but as a slow unfoldment. Planets in retrograde are giving us an opportunity to purposefully wander, unwind, and return to places that may have been glossed over or missed. Mercury RX is still near Venus, so it may help to focus on what you value and what's worth your attention.
An eclipse can bring a wobbly feel, so how can you take advantage of what has become unstable in these areas of life? Mutability (the modality of Virgo and Pisces) offers a chance to pivot--something that was central shifts, maybe it's our perspective or perceptions, and now we are open in ways we haven't been before. As ever, we are talking about potentials and possible outcomes. A Full Moon brings something into vivid focus. May this Full Moon bring the illumination necessary for your personal growth and highest wellbeing.
