Full Moon at 3 degrees of Aries on September 26, 2026

The full moon brings illumination and awareness. It's time to look at your Aries house and see what is on full display. There are some important things to consider with this moon though: 1) the moon is next to Neptune and 2) Mars, the ruler of this lunation is at the critical 29th degree of Cancer. So even though a full moon seeks complete exposure, we may find that a fog (Neptune) has rolled in, and that feelings are even spicier than they normally would be on a full moon. Mars is in a sign it struggles in (Cancer) and the final degree of any sign signals that something is on the cusp of change, and as almost all of us would agree, change is hard. Further, Mars is making a square with Chiron which just re-entered Aries and is retrograde. A Mars and Chiron activation may be offering us an opportunity to excise something that needs to be cut out or removed. Conversely, it could be like touching an open sore that hasn't healed. Regardless, now that you've seen something, you have the choice to do something about it. With Mars being at the anorectic degree, you may find yourself saying, "That's it. This is the last time I (fill in the blank)"

The dates of this lunation family may help you "see" the story that is unfolding.

The new moon that opened this grouping was on March 29, 2025 at 9 degrees of Aries. We know that this signaled a time that one chapter was closing, and a new one was beginning in this area of our chart. The first quarter moon was on December 27, 2025 at 3 degrees of Aries and this is called a "crisis in action"--an adjustment is needed in order for further growth. Now we have the full moon on September 26, 2026 at 3 degrees of Aries which is a culminating energy. Next, we have a third quarter moon at 5 degrees of Aries and this phase is called a "crisis in consciousness", this is a time of evaluation and corrective energy. Finally, we have the new moon on March 26, 2028 at 6 degrees of Aries that heralds an ending and a new beginning. Knowing that you are in the process of learning something in a longer storyline may help you gain some insight around this full moon.
